This White-crowned Sparrow has no yellow on it lores (the area in front of the eyes) differentiating it from a White-throated Sparrow. It has clean black and white stripes on its head and a pink bill.

These guys came through my yard during migration. Haven’t seen them since. Love the fencing as contrast in this one. A painted chain-link fence with a barbed wire above. Looks like he’s hanging out at a chic prison. Ha!
