
Marsh Wren
We think of most birds as having a song. The Marsh Wren’s “song” is more of a sound – like a sewing machine. It tends to keep it up for awhile, but usually out-of-sight. This one came out to belt its song from the highest marsh grass.

Splendid shot! I’ve been looking for this bird . . .
Very nice shots of a bird that is notoriously difficult to get in the open. Typically I can hear lots of them and occasionally see flits of the them, but out in the open singing-seldom.
