Red-tailed Hawk
Red Tail Hawk at Veterans Memorial Park, Boise Idaho. My wife and I have been to this park three times to photograph birds, every time we have been there just as we are leaving, this hawk swoops down on us to get our attention and then flies around a bit as we take photos. Just as we got to the car, I said to my wife “no hawk today”…… and just as I said it two seconds later, he flew right over our heads at about 15 feet above us. I think it likes having its picture taken.
