Black Vulture
All-black or dark birds are notoriously hard to photograph. Because the camera sees so much darkness they “fool” the camera into thinking it should allow more light in. This typically overexposes the bird, making the details hard to see. In order to adjust for this I lowered the Exposure Compensation on the camera by 1/3. The overall picture comes out a little darker but the bird’s details are preserved.
