Townsend's Warbler
We went up to find this rare Townsend’s Warbler. Lately we haven’t been lucky when attempting to find a Target Bird. Things fell into place quickly: a fast response on which area to look from someone who recently saw it, Karen spotted it within 5 minutes or arrival, after getting some lousy shots of the bird it flew off – only to return close-by for theses shots. High-fives for a Lifer!

Beautiful shot! It’s nice when a rare lifer also gives you a few good looks.
I like the lighting on the bird and the shadows on the bark. Ver interesting. Really highlights the yellow feathers.
