Terrible Picture of a Rare Bird

One of the targets for our Field Guides guide Jay was the Crested Quail-Dove.  This endemic is classified as “Near Threatened” as its population has declined.  The first time Jay spotted one I didn’t even get a glimpse of it.  The second time it was buried in the forest and this was the best shot of it I could get – a Documenting Shot to be sure.
