Scarlet Tanager

Well Frankly Scarlet…

This Scarlet Tanager was foraging on the ground, which is a little unusual as I’ve typically seen them up high in the trees.

I’ve been seeing some on the ground too. Maybe the rain has pushed the beetles and bees down somewhat. Nice photo Mike,
