That’s My Spark Bird, Too!

Birder2011 shared a picture of a Common Yellowthroat she saw in California a couple of months ago.  It’s a great shot and she mentions that it looked a bit brighter than the ones she regularly sees in the midwest.  She also mentioned that it was her Spark Bird, and it just so happens that it’s mine, too.  When I was just starting out in bird photography I borrowed someone’s camera and tripod and went to the Morton Arboretum and a Common Yellowthroat just showed off for me.  I took many great shots, one of which still hangs in my house.  That shot spurred me on to get a good camera and lens and to take hundreds-of-thousands bird photographs.  Enough about me though, here’s Birder2011’s shot:
