There were 65 excellent entries in GreatBirdPic.com‘s “Tis The Season” bird photography contest so Xwinger and I had to work hard to narrow down the field. In the end we had eight Great Bird Pics that fit the theme best – we selected Mike Affinito’s shot titled “Strike the Harp and Join the Chorus” as the best. We liked how the four Red-breasted Mergansers appeared to be greeting the snow with joy – in the spirit of the season! Mike will receive $100 for his winning contest entry just in time for Christmas! Congratulations Mike!
