Everyone who signs up for GreatBirdPics.com enters their full name and a user name. For example, my full name is Mike Warner and my user name is Mike. I designed the site to display a person’s user name with each picture they share. Well I’ve discovered that this isn’t always the case. Some members have their full name displayed on the Information Page for each shared photograph and others have their user name displayed.
Please take a look at some of your shared photos and see if the name listed is your preferred name. If it is not, please reply to this email with what name you would like displayed beneath each of your pictures and I will make the change. Just remember that whatever display name you choose will be stored by search engines and other bots that go through the web collecting information. If you want your real name out there as a great bird photographer, go for it. If not, make sure your user name is being displayed.
