Last week I shared two pictures I took while in Kruger National Park, South Africa. They both showed the same Black-necked Stilt in shallow water and were quite similar. I asked which one was better.
A.
B.
There weren’t many responses and the ones I received were split 50/50. Because the shots were good, but not great so people really didn’t care which one was better. Any small differences were not enough to elevate the quality of either picture.
Sometimes I take too much time debating “Which One Is Better?” when reviewing images during post-processing and sometimes it’s just not worth the time. Flip a coin or just pick one and move on. Spend your time on your best images, not the mediorcre ones.
