Our Bird Photograph of the Week was taken by Mike Affinito. He noted one of the Northern Shovelers he was observing was bobbing its head so Mike got ready for when it took off. He captured this Great Bird Pic when it took to wing. A great technique – know the signs a bird is about to take off so you can get a Great Bird Pic like Mike’s.
