Last week I announced Great Bird Pic’s latest contest, “Birds in Black and White”. The member who submits the best bird photograph that is rendered in black and white will win $100. Be sure to read all the rules here.
Just to confuse you, today I’m featuring birds that have Black and White in their name (which DOESN’T count for the contest – only if the image is black and white would it be eligible). Enjoy these bird photographs:
One of my favorite warblers is the Black-and-White Warbler and LinLark took a great shot of one in her favorite park.
BlairBirder took this night shot of a Black and White Owl on the backroads in Mexico. Love those red eyes.
Finally, Paul Demkovich was on the Amazon River in Brazil when he saw a Black-and-White Antbird on the prowl. Check out the blue feet!
That’s all for now – remember to submit your bird photographs in black and white for the contest, no matter what their name is.
