Paul’s Roseate Spoonbill

One of my favorite Florida birds (at least that’s the only place I’ve seen them) is the Roseate Spoonbill.  Between its weirdly shaped bill, the bright pink plumage, and a face only a mother could love this spoonbill always captures my attention.  It also captured Paul Demkovich’s attention as he sat on a dock on Amelia Island, Florida and took some shots of one feeding near a Great Egret.
