Yellow-winged Cacique

Native Indian Chief

Viewed 18 Times

A rather common woodland bird to see along the western shores of Mexico. Their name means “Native Indian Chief” of Spanish speaking regions. They are quite stunning in flight with their yellow wings outstretched.

I can just imagine how interesting the Native Indian Chief looks when flying. Thanks for adding another species to our list!
