Limpkin is not common bird in Lexington, Kentucky. He has been here since August and I had been concerned and worried since it is really bitter cold and weren’t sure if he will have enough to food to stay warm! I went this afternoon to check on him and was happy that is still safe!

We had one in the Chicago suburbs, may have come in around the same time. It recently died. Another one was captured and returned to the South (FL or GA?). Very sad that this could not have been saved as well.
That is so sad! I have scared about the Limpkin due the arctic blast in Lexington, Ky. I am hoping to check on Limpkin tomorrow afternoon!
