Both Western and Mountain Bluebirds are easily found in the sagebrush areas of Kittitas County in Eastern Washington. On my trip there Friday I had more than a dozen of each (maybe as many as 20) in nesting habitat. The Mountain Bluebird male is a real show stopper.
