Nesting Gentoo Penguin With Two Eggs

We traveled 2-1/2 hours east from Ushuaia along the Beagle Channel on a boat with about 100 other people to Isla Martillo to see the Gentoo Penguins. This photo shows the breeding colony of about 80 birds. We did not land and had to struggle our way through the crowd for optimal viewing from the boat.
This bird is upright, which allows us to see two white eggs on the ground in front of it – Fantastic!
Focal length 840mm – Without the 600mm lens and a 1.4 teleconverter, this image would not have been possible!
