I really like the shot of the Cardinal atop the snag. The bird looks small compared to the snag – I wonder if the composition would be improved if the crop reduced the size of the snag? The opening that the bird’s tail hangs into looks very interesting so I would leave all of that.
I agree Mike. I was avoiding overcropping the image and trying to include some of the darker background elements even though they were not in bird’s background. I will post a recropped image from the same sequence that I will entitle v2. Thanks for the pointer! Much obliged.
