After watching this Great Blue Heron fly in, stalk its lunch, and successfully spearing a Bluegill, what did it do next? This photo is one of many. This bird did a lot of maneuvering of this fish this way and that way before it was successful to get the head pointed down its throat as it swallowed it a small amount at a time.
