We have visited Stu Visser Trails many, many times since it was developed. It consists of 37 acres. There is a marsh, some woodlands, a couple of small ponds, and a stream that flows into Lake Macatawa.
After watching one bird walking back and forth across the lily pads with its feet in and out of the water that had accumulated on the lily pads, a second bird joined it. It appeared they were looking possibly for food. As we continued to watch, both flew to the edge of the trail and one of the birds began picking apart a dandelion.
