It seems to be a very good year for Brown Thrashers in my area. On most of my bird walks, I have seen at least one, many times two Brown Thrashers. Previous years, I was happy to see one or maybe two for the season, This particular day, two Thrashers were hunting for bugs, for what I assume was to bring back to a nest. I decided to get on my knees as this Brown Thrasher was hopping around. Many of my photos of this bird I had a very sharp image of grass blades and blurry shot of the Thrasher. Eventually, I was able to keep my focus on the bird.
