Osprey

Feeding a growing juvenile Osprey.

This male Osprey is approaching its nest where he dropped off this fish for the female who proceeded to feed their juvenile.

I had my extender on my lens for this shot which, for a number of reasons, can be a mixed blessing. In this shot’s distance the added extender was probably unnecessary. As you can see the right wing is cut off out of the frame. On this account, I have mixed feelings about the results. Does this nonetheless work? I’m not sure.
