Hooded Warbler: Another Rare Sighting

I have been looking for an opportunity to see and photograph one of these birds for years. Finally, one was reported close enough to make a trip worthwhile.

Because of the rare occurrence of this bird in Massachusetts, the Merlin app that recognizes bird calls, did not include this bird’s call in its data base during my visit. (It’s subsequently does now).
