The Caribbean Elaenia (Elaenia martinica) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae found in the West Indies and parts of Central America. On Aruba only found in a concentrated area, with only a few breeding pairs counted till today. Rather drab and inconspicuous flycatcher of tropical woodland, semi-open areas with bushes and trees. Often found at fruiting trees, where eats small berries and seeds.
When the crest is raised it exposes a white crown patch, erasing the inconspicuous appearance.
