As a new birder I was completely baffled by the change of clothes in fall for warblers. This was my first sighting of a Blackpoll warbler last fall, having never seen one yet in the spring. When I saw one for the first time in spring clothes it was like seeing a “second” lifer because it looked like a completely different bird.

Good point. I’ve thought about adding a “Plumage” field to the picture entry so we could search for spring and fall colors of the warblers in particular.
that’s a great idea. Fall warblers can be really tricky to ID so having other photos to compare can really help.
Hard to tell its not a picture.
