Chipping Sparrow
This was the first non-house sparrow sparrow I ever saw. When it showed up in my yard I was so happy it wasn’t just another house sparrow I nearly blew a gasket. I became fascinated with how many species of sparrows there were and all the subtle and not so subtle ways they vary from each other.

We had a Tree Sparrow in our back yard all winter long. It was fun to watch it and learn more about them. Great sharp picture.
