Eastern Whip-poor-will

A Lifer Tucked In a Tree

Viewed 11 Times

As we walked around Montrose we bumped into several birding buddies.  One of our closest is Jayne who is an excellent birder.  She approached us and said, “Do you want to see the Whip-poor-will?”  Heck, yeah!  She led us to the middle of the park and pointed to a shrub and directed our attention through a small window to the sleeping bird.  A Lifer!
