Birds in Black and White – What’s for Dinner?

xenops17

The Sharp-Shinned Hawk is watching for dinner below while sitting at the feeder. The metal finial above looks down on him in a slightly whimsical view. Without color, the bright color of the finial does not distract, and we also get to concentrate on the intricate patterns of the hawk’s breast feathers. This is a Black and White film image take with Pentax MX, Pentax 400 lens and Kodak Tri-x 400.
