Fully Extended

This Green Heron looks quite different now than in the previous two pictures (navigate to the right).  It extends its neck while hunting to either grab or pierce its prey with its beak.  Since it was not actively hunting during this time I wonder if it could also be a mating display to show a prospective mate its hunting prowess.
