Monty, the male of the famous nesting Chicago Piping Plover pair, is banded with a blue band by its right foot and a silver band (not seen here) on its tibia of the same leg.  It has a yellow/orange band on its left leg.  A monitor at Montrose Beach though he was banded in central Wisconsin.
