Snow Goose
We estimated that there were about 2,000 Snow Geese in this group of them on Lake Emiquon. They resembled a Starling “murmuration” as they rose up off of the surface. This closeup give you an idea of the density of the birds. The few darker birds mixed in are the Blue Morph of the species.
