Here we are toward the end of migration I haven’t seen any Great Bird Pics of warblers! These colorful birds pass though the U.S. every spring and fall and they are absolutely beautiful. Finally, in the past couple of days some of our loyal members posted a few – take a look:
One of my favorite warblers is the Prothonotary – its bright yellow body and gunmetal gray wings make it a standout. Luckily for us in the midwest some of them nest here so we can see them through the summer. Here are two shots of this striking bird. First by Linlark – I love the square framing and the inclusion of the whole oak pods – great composition!
Our next one by Avneet Kaur is as close to a Prothonotary Warbler as you can get. Great closeup!
Here’s another nice composition by LinLark of a Nashville Warbler. Again, note that she set the frame non-standard size to best accommodate the image – well done!
Finally, another one from Avneet Kaur, this time of a Bay-breasted Warbler. Notice that Avneet has extended out the landscape format to include some spider webs on the left side of the image.
So where are the rest of the warbler shots? I know you have them!
