Each spring in the Northern Hemisphere birders and bird photographers look forward to bird migration. Although there are many types of birds migrating north, warblers are of particular interest because they are so colorful. Here are some warbler pics shared by our members:
Docshaf reports that Prairie Warblers reside in Delaware over the summer. Here’s a shot of one he has been pursuing.
Wilson’s Warblers migrate up into Canada and Paul Demkovich found this one by Lake Louise. Great shot!
Here’s a Chestnut-sided Warbler by Avneet Kaur. It looks like it was buried in the shadows – perhaps brightening the exposure and/or Shadows settings during post-processing would have brought the bird out more.
Ron Zigler was initially pleased that he got a close shot of this Black-throated Blue Warbler, but when he looked at it on his computer back home he was a little disappointed. Perhaps he was talking about the tail being out of focus (it was so close the tail pointing toward the camera was out of the depth-of-field). What do you think – forgivable?
