American Kestrel’s are the smallest of the raptors, but don’t let there size fool you.. These raptors are just as feared as the bigger cousins are by their pray.

I have a tough time getting good shots of Kestrels. I can only approach just so close and then the fly off. Interesting crop to include so much of the fence – at first I wasn’t wild about it but when I look at the expanded version I like it more.
