First time seeing a Willet and it was in its drab winter plumage. Nevertheless there were a few on the beach every day, so plenty of opportunities to get some nice photos.
Even though the Willet appeared drab to you I really like you picture of it – it appears you were in the ocean looking back at it.
May be drab, but you captured a nice low POV shot. Shot to be proud of, IMO.
