Female Black-necked Stilt caught tending her nest with 2 eggs visible. The male was foraging close by. Image shot at the Bear Swamp Pool at Bombay Hook NWR where the water levels in all of the freshwater pools in the refuge are unusually low due to borderline drought conditions.
