Here we go again with another Which One Wednesday; I select a few pictures and you get to weigh in on which one you like the best. We rarely have 100% consensus on these so it’s always interesting to see who likes what and why.
Today’s subject is a Yellow-headed Blackbird I saw perched on a barbed wire fence in the Ft. Pierre National Grasslands in South Dakota last year. I’ve modified the same shot three different ways – take a look and let me know which version you like the best:
Version 1
Version 1 is cropped to show some of the grasses beneath the bird.
Version 2
Version 2 is cropped much closer and shows just some wisps of the grasses beneath the bird.
Version 3
Version 3 is identical to Version 2 except I have removed the wisps of grasses beneath the barbed wire.
